Shafts are constructed on a variety of different types of project – transport infrastructure, water treatment works, residential developments just to name a few, but because of their depth, dewatering is often a common requirement.
The dewatering requirements for a shaft can often be complex, due to the underlying geology and the variety of different construction techniques. A shallow dewatering system may be required for superficial deposits whereas deeper dewatering wells may be required to control water levels and pressures deeper bedrock.
